Within the frame of our trans programme, we meet biweekly for support group, which includes game nights and creative workshops. Transzine is an arts publication developed within the framework of the trans meet ups.

  • Trans Uncensored (English) – A podcast devoted to trans issues

Asexual Programme

The asexual programme started in April 2016, with support group meetings. Meetings have recently been on hiatus, but keep an eye on our facebook events page in 2020…

Queer Book Club

Started in January 2018, our monthly queer book club explores both classical and contemporary portrayals of LGBT+ persons.

Sexual Health Programme

We’re excited to announce a new project on the sexual health of LGBT+ women, trans and intersex people! With this project, we aim to educate gynaecologists working with LGBT+ people (within and outside of Ljubljana), research the needs and experiences within the LGBT+ community and develop workshops on lesbian and trans safer sex. The results of our initial survey are forthcoming.

The project is co-developed by Društvom Študentov Medicine, Project Virus, and Dr Gabrijela Simetinger.

Beyond Binaries: Next Generation Queer Feminism

Beyond Binaries is a joint project between Društvo Kvartir in Slovenia and Queer Trans & Youth in the Czech Republic (under parent organisation Trans*parent) focused on the increasing number of youth who identify on the bi and non-binary spectrum and how these identities relate to feminism. The two groups utilised skills in our respective fields (youth activism, bisexuality, movement building, transgender issues, and self and collective care) to bridge gaps and blind spots in our local communities and empower queer/trans youth as well as build intergenerational links, learning self care and building sustainable movements.
