A transgender person can be simply defined as a person who does not exclusively identify with the gender they were assigned at birth.
- You are trans enough, if you’re nonbinary
- You are trans enough, even if no one knows you’re trans
- You are trans enough, even if people do not respect your identity and misgender you
- You are trans enough, even if you misgender yourself
- You are trans enough, even if your gender expression doesn’t match your gender identity
- You are trans enough, even if you are a femme trans man or a butch trans woman
- You are trans enough, regardless of your hobbies
- You are trans enough, no matter what genders you’re attracted to
- You are trans enough, even if you don’t experience gender dysphoria
- You are trans enough, even if you aren’t on hormones
- You are trans enough, even if you don’t want surgery
- You are trans enough, no matter what your ID says
- You are trans enough, even if the government doesn’t recognise it
- You are trans enough, no matter whether or not you can prove it
- You are trans enough, even if you weren’t always
- You are trans enough, even if you only just realised you’re trans
- You are trans enough, even if you just realised you were trans while reading this post
Trans identities are not exclusive! No one should ever tell others that they’re not trans enough. We must strive for a loving and welcoming community. Together we are stronger.
Lots of love,
